virtual platform: Whova
The Annual Directors’ Meeting will be held in Whova, a microsite and desktop application which will contain all of the content, attendee information and communications you’ll need to fully experience all components of the virtual event. You will access the site from your desktop using Google Chrome with a login and password. We’ll provide details on how to join Whova closer to the event date.
Whova uses Zoom technology to power its live meeting functionality. All meetings will be in Zoom rooms. We recommend installing the Zoom software prior to participating in the virtual event for best results: Install "Zoom Client for Meetings" for zoom.us/download
ATTENDEE PROFILE
When we have launched the site you will be sent an Invitation to login and access your Whova account. The first step will be to “Claim Your Account” by creating a 6-digit password, agreeing to terms, and selecting “Complete Profile.” We encourage everyone to upload a photo, add “tags,” or other pertinent details that will facilitate networking with other attendees.
ENGAGEMENT & NETWORKING
Wondering how to connect with other attendees during the event? The virtual event site has an official app which you can download and interact before and during the event to provide a more engaging experience in a virtual environment.
